What is Phonics?
Phonics is a method of teaching reading and writing by developing learners' phonemic awareness—the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate sounds (phonemes).
Instead of memorizing whole words, children learn:

- How to blend sounds to read words

Our Phonics Program
📚 Level 1: Foundation
(Ages 4-5 years)
Duration: 3 months | 3 classes per week | 60 minutes per class
What Children Learn:
- Single letter sounds (a-z)
- Short vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u)
- Initial sounds in words
- Blending 2-3 letter words (cat, dog, pen)
- Reading simple CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant)

- Reading simple books (5-10 words per book)
📖 Level 2: Building Blocks (Ages 5-6 years)
Duration: 3 months | 2 classes per week | 60 minutes per class
What Children Learn:
- Consonant blends (bl, cr, st, tr)
- Long vowel sounds
- Magic 'e' rule (cake, kite, home)
- Digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh)
- 4-letter and 5-letter words
- Simple sentences
Activities:
- Word family practice (-at, -an, -ig, -og)
- Decodable readers
- Sight words introduction
- Writing simple sentences
- Phonics games and worksheets
📕 Level 3: Advanced Phonics (Ages 6-8 years)
Duration: 4 months | 2 classes per week | 60 minutes per class

- Complex vowel teams (ai, ee, oa, ou)
- R-controlled vowels (ar, er, ir, or, ur)
- Silent letters (knee, write, lamb)
- Soft and hard sounds (c, g)
- Multi-syllable words
- Reading fluency and comprehension
